Cecilia House is a seven-apartment, 20-bed home for DePaul and City College of Chicago students experiencing housing insecurities. This home was made possible thanks to a generous donation from philanthropists John and Emily Chen. The house is named in honor of Emily's mother Cecilia Tang who, throughout her life, represented home by radiating warmth, love, and strength to everyone she encountered. Her legacy lives on in this space that provides security and belonging to all who enter.
